one year follow-up

EcoPoste signpost stands strong in Louisville, CO one year after being installed.

One year ago, EcoPoste North partnered with the City of Louisville, Colorado to install our durable, eco-friendly recycled plastic posts in public spaces. The goal was simple: test how well EcoPoste products perform under real-world conditions - winter freeze, summer heat, and the constant wear and tear of lawn maintenance equipment.

The project, completed in early autumn last year, focused on replacing aging wood and metal posts that had deteriorated from moisture, rust, and sunlight exposure. EcoPoste North provided our signposts made entirely from recycled plastic which are designed to resist rot, fading, and impact damage. The installation area included public green spaces that see heavy year-round use.

One year after installation, the posts remained straight, unfaded, and free of cracks or splinters. Zero corrosion or insect damage was observed, a major advantage over metal and wood. There was no need for repainting, staining, or treatments, significantly reducing the cost of maintenance. The success in Louisville showcases how EcoPoste products can deliver lasting sustainability and durability in demanding outdoor environments.

EcoPoste North is proud to see our posts standing strong one year later and ready for many more seasons to come. And as EcoPoste North continues to expand across North America, installations like Louisville’s serve as living proof that environmentally friendly infrastructure can be both practical and resilient.
